The site shows an adult Surinamensis , look at the spot shape and size, body markings, colors of the fins. Also some juvenile Geo's can be difficult to identify.

I don't mind if it's Altifrons or something else..Just wanted to find out exactly what I'm keeping![]()
I have some geos that look exactly like those. I bought them as jurupari but I've seen them labeled as altifron and sumerience as well
less than 3 inches...Their tails do have a pattern at the moment..How big are they? They look small enough that their tail pattern might not have settled yet.
