yea I've always struggled with fish for some reason.

the picture in my head was a sick idea too man, I just couldn't put it on paper like it was in my head. I really wish I could've shared it with you guys. it was a bit strange and off the wall. maybe some day.

Come on sumo you can do it lol , fish are hard though I agree I had to copy a google images PIC because all the shots of my old bass are pretty lame

draw evrything in shapes circles, squares and ovals. start with that platform add some lines where the eyes, nose, mouth ect would be and shape it from there. Thats the easiest way to go about it. thats how i start just about everything. Dont give up on your drawing. I swith between drawings all the time when i get stumped. Then when you start coloring it just remember your light sources.

Solid info from Sean guys I start a lot of my drawings in this way helps get proportion correct from the off , highlights and shadows are very important especially drawing something like fish as it gives the picture depth and realistic character

but damn, I am not feeling it. at the same time I don't want heather waiting any longer than she already has and after this week my kids are on Christmas break for 3 weeks so I won't be able to start a new one. i'll send it tomorrow

Heres a different one
In math class we had to make the equasion for at least 20 lines that make a picture but since I really got into it and I wanted to make a cool picture, i some how ended up with 219 lines. It's taken me weeks because i have to make the linear equasion for each line and then graph it. And of cource, it had to be a fish theme .
