Who can guess what these are?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How do they work?
I've seen a plastic one but not one like this.
You fill up all sections with water and place the tray in the freezer. When the water freezes the lever is raised and the solid ice is broken into cubes.
baptise them by making some fish food!
wife would love that. hahaha
I bet she would lol.

I would think anyone old enough to be on MFK (13+) would be familiar enough with ice cube trays to recognize these pretty quickly. lol

Thirteen years old,really?...I haven't seen any since I was a kid and they were old even then lol.I only knew of them back then because I lived with my grandmother.I sure don't recall anyone else having them in the houses I hung out in.

I just think they look similar enough to the modern ice cube trays that most people could connect the dots, even if they hadn't used this particular type of tray. Lol

Cool Krich, it's been a while since I've seen those. I like that old stuff too. A couple years ago I found a piece of Tupperware way back in my parents cabinet that has to go back to the 70s, my favorite spoon is from the same time, trips me out I've been eating with it probably my whole life.

Rock what's so special about that spoon?

As kids we even used to pour juice into the trays and make our own ice pops.

Yes! When my older sister and I were little, my dad used to buy frozen concentrate grape juice and orange juice, and as soon as he'd make it, we'd pour some into an ice cube tray with toothpicks as makeshift popsicle sticks. :grinno:
