Agreed, lets agree to disagree! Agreed?

lol, i'm not even ready to agree to disagree

I want to hear unbiased reasoning for doing this to fish. if you can't be unbiased then I want someone else to answer

if I breed pigs to have half the length of their legs to the point where they can't move like a normal pig, should I?? no matter how cute they are and how long I can keep them cared for and alive, should I?? and they are proned to suffer in ways normal pigs aren't, should I breed these pigs?

I dont think red is tryong to change anyones mind but seriously i do see all the confusion.
It wouldnt it be fair for redear to question why you/me like the fish we like ?
Cuz we just do

Same could be said for veil tail oscars some people like em some dont

I think it's all in how you present yourself. redear is almost cartoonish and way over the top passionate about them instead of presenting things subjectively. it reads like a sales ad more then an information piece. That's pretty much his post style when it comes to goldfish, filtration and under stocked tanks. It also has a lot of misdirection of hey look at this pics, look at this video, this is art and repeating the same points over and over. let's get to the nuts and bolts of the discussion instead.

I won't argue with you, but i will correct misinformation. Are they fat? Yes, but you must not confuse fat with disease.

But again shall we agree to disagree?

I thought we were already passed that. one way to get me to leave a discussion is if someone kept repeating themselves

You sound a lot like my wife. Lol. No offense. Seriously, she tells me the same things all the time!

I told you I won't argue with you and I won't. But again, this thread is fantastic!

Fatness and goldfish often go hand in hand. Goldfish, like many other fish will eat themselves to death. Add the fact that many beginners start with goldfish, and what's the first mistake alot of us made when starting out, overfeeding. How many times have you seen regular goldfish look like basketballs, it's not because they were bred that way, it's because they are overfed.

Again the voice of reason.

won't or can't?

it's ok, I can be a handful

plus you asked if we can agree to disagree and I answered you.

you obviously can't take the discussion further which is why I asked for anyone who isn't obviously unbiased to further this discussion.

you can feel free to step aside and post videos and profess your undying love for these disabled goldfish though
