just came across it on the internet

if I was the recipient, and decided to consider the child and not the parent and attend the party, i'd buy the kid a gift card and be done with it

I had explained my logic though, you chose to call my circle "the problem"...which don't really bother me cuz it's the gf family and kids. My fam and friends don't do gift exchange except Christmas

you only stated that it mattered to you how they returned your gift, I didn't understand why it was ok to you, for them to take your nike shoe and exchange for a nike shirt, and not taking your nike shoe and taking it to buy an adidas shorts or a Samsonite suitcase or something else. I didn't get what difference that made. that's all
