Omg Elvira!!! :D BULLSEYE!!!!!!! I'd stay up to watch her, even though I didn't think she was funny or really cared for the show itself. I still have it bad for her!! I'm totally thinking of having her as my theme for my mancave!!

Wow. THAT is an oldie I had forgotten about! Must've been after he got kicked out of the Fort that he became The Rifleman ;-)
 
not sure if it was the show I loved or was the opening every show that had me glued. I was maybe 5 or 6 at the time?
 
looked it up, I was 6. born in 59.

There was always something to watch. Today I find channels I never new existed almost everyday and its mostly junk. I watch about the same 8 or so channels everyday. Remember when you had to kneel in front of the TV changing channels, stop for a few minute see if it was something you wanted to watch and then continue changing channels. Or searching the TV guid to see what was on. Black and white television sets on wheels you could roll from room to room and then adjusting the ariel to get reception, then when you had it just right you would move and loose the picture. I was so curious about what color TV was like when it first came out and they had rounded picture tubes so high tech.

Haha! That is why kids always had to sit on the floor... so we could change channels at the parents' direction.
and I remember when we had to "take out the picture tube, drive to the store and match it up with the correct replacement" ;-)
