What's your favorite?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Everyone seems to love their dovii. When I have enough space for a tank I'll consider one but right now something like a trimac is higher up and the list for a single fish in a tank.

I cant add a picture right now but My all time Favorite was my piebald Red Devil. Stunning fish. only got to around 8 inches until the power went out due to some heavy spring storms back in 2012. But my old Female Jaguar is a close 2nd. She lived for 2 years but unfortunately I didn't realize the state of my tank ( some of my fault and bad filtration set up), she began digging nests in the gravel and I was running an underground filter and she tore that all up and released " A dead zone" and released toxins into the water. I didn't know what was going on and I was freaking out at the time. wasn't till a month later I figured it all out. If I had been prepared I could have used some products to knock down Nitrite and nitrate, and add Stability to the water.

That sucks man! Can't wait for pics later.

The green terror. Was my first cichlid and still my fav. Have 3 currently. My first grew to 11" before passing. It's hard to find a really nice specimen of GT. Especially here in Arizona. I have bought several online. Only owned one with a nice thick band on his tail and long flowing fins

oops sorry just realized i read it wrong lol replied quickly while watching a movie just glancing over
i dont know what she was crossed with and the previous owner didnt know either... = / lol
