He was about 5" when I got him and now he is 12". Very laid back fish. Thought about making a ID thread but there are so many already.

You guys think I should make a IDthread. Had him since April and these are some of the first pics I have posted if him.

If you can get like detail shots of the pores and LL. That's all that's needed but if u see them urself then u got ur ID.

Aweosme price for a fish that'll easily be in the $200s.
 
Here is a nice LL pic would have to net him for a pore pic. With all the reading i have done over months i am about 80% sure Australis but could always use a positive ID from some experts.

It's either brasi or australis. I counted 42 scales too. 5 pores as well. With a rounded head it has to be Australis.

+1 the jaw folds give it away easily cause I believe only australis is inbetween lac and mala. Nice pick up.
 
It's nice to get some feed back on him. Only problem with having a Australis is not really knowing what he is worth. Lots of pricing for other wolfs but never really seen anything for these guys. No plans on getting rid of him tho.

Brasi has same folds supposedly and can be ID'd by the pores/ll.
