Beautiful line. I hope you continue your line so I can pick some males from you later.

nice !!!! :)

This is the 4th generation and likely the last. I only have one female left, and need to introduce new gene. The one in the front is a female and the one behind is a male. Still hard for me to sex them until breeding time when females turn dark and drop their fat egg tube. Females are brightly colored off breeding, and nearly indistinguishable from males except having smaller size and hump.

Is great grandpa alive?

Is great grandpa alive?

No, the great gradpa in the avatar is gone. He would be 15 year old if he were still alive. Their life expectancy averaged 8 year in my tanks. I am down to 2 males and one female from the 4th generation. I have no plan to multiply them as they have been inbreeding too long and I need to introduce new genes to the pool.

Just updated pics and vedio of my 4th generation GT males. I have two males left, one with a female in a 125 with more robust tankmates shown above in Thread #14. This one is an alpha male kept single in a 75 and shows brighter color. But his hump size is not as impressive as his great Grandpa.
