Well if I cancel out an oscar how about a flagtail 4 bala sharks a bichir or eel preferably a fire eel or tire track eel and something else.

I'm,thinking,this stock may work in one of them a silver datnoid 4 bala sharks, maybe a flagtail maybe not I will see your ideas and either 2 ropefish or some type of large bichir like an ornate
Just remember with rope fish they have a strong desire to "evolve"
IE: they get out on dry ground alot. I caught ours about 4 times on the floor. they do rehydrate nicely if caught in time and will live. But eventually they slithered out to where the time span was to great and didn't make it.
This was on a tank that was covered and duct taped. YMMV
Also caught one up in the HOB filter once and I figure that's how they were bypassing the tape and lid. Just swimming upstream on the out flow.
One fish I'll not purchase again just to big of a pain.

I've had to take disciplinary action against a Featherfin recently due to a recurring biting habit but the aggression has mostly been against other cats and had to be remove and currently lives alone. I have heard a few reports of similar on MFK's.
I still recommend against a Fire Eel unless you plan on upgrading to a larger tank in the next year or two, and it had better be a pretty sure thing. They get nearly 3' long (sometimes longer) and are thick. They will need a larger tank.
I like the rope fish idea but I have heard a lot that they do better in groups of 4 or more. I also have heard of many escape stories, like so many that if you have one it WILL escape eventually. In addition, I think they can become prey items for some of the larger aggressive fish, such as Oscars. They remain pretty skinny and can easily be swallowed up by something with a big mouth.
If you want a stock for life kind of stocking then I would recommend a smaller variation of the spiny eels, maybe a peacock or two.

Yah I'm stocking without wanting,to,upgrade how about,this can,everyone,give me an,idea of fish I could put with 4 bala sharks and a flagtail? Preferably some type of active bottom feeder I'm thinking a bichir maybe but I want a pretty active,tank,with fish I,get to,see,move around often all ideas are welcome!

1 flagtail or datnoid
1 bristlenone pleco for algae control.

Flagtail are just as effective for algae control as pleco, but without all the poo everywhere
Oh ok see I forgot about that ! How about no bristlenos and would it be feasible to do this stocking in a 150? With the flagtail or datnoid?
A 150 would be the bare minimum for a Flagtail and a datnoid. Only problem I can see is that flagtails tends to grow much quicker than dats, and flagtails can be punks. On the other hand, dats can be pretty bold themselves.
