at a year to 18 months oscars reach breading age, after that the female may lay eggs as often as every 3 weeks or so, male present or not, or may never lay eggs, or lay not as often.

down, boy. take it easy.....there are many of them in the outside world lol occasionally a trip outside will yield a few of them here or there :D Indeed however, quite an elaborate specimen though lol.....rather surprising since Florida has poor water quality :(

Why would I go outside I got one at home. I'm worried more about you maybe your spending a little too much time with your aquariums......
