Hello; Is the information in my post correct? It is my understanding that you have a "may issue" and not a "shall issue" policy. Meaning that while the authorities have granted you a license, they were not required to. In other words it was their choice and not yours.

Is it true that claiming self defense is not considered sufficent reason to be issued a license?

Is the semi-auto 22 caliber rifle such as the Ruger 10-22 one of the banned types?
 
Let me tell you as someone living in a country with gun control it does nothing. Our government and week minded society are always asking for more. A year ago a guy went to a house party and killed 5 people with a kitchen knife he got out of a drawer. No one screamed for a knife ban or said all knives should be locked away. However had he used a gun it would be a whole different story. We are being told guns are the evil part and when they are gone murder ends. The first murder was commited with a rock I see no ban on them.
People are the problem and we can not control what they will do. That said when there are people with problems that are known about a lot closer tabs should be kept on them. About 5 years ago a guy who was supposed to be on some kind of meds quit taking them. He got on a bus headed across the country and cut a guys head off with a knife. Is he locked up now no he is walking aound free with a cell phone to keep track of him. Left to take his meds on his own again wonderful system.
From what I hear on the news you guys have only one choice come the election make it count. Don't sit back and say it doesn't matter my vote won't make a difference it will. The problems we have up now now are from that attitude and it is not worth the result.
As I said earlier our society wants to believe liberal politicians and movie stars forget the truth. Gun control leads to communism always has always will. When a countries people can't protect themselves from their government what happens.

Cars kill more people then guns do but yet there's no attempt to ban cars. More proof this is a political issue and not really a danger issue.

It just BAD man. There was an ex judge on the news saying its not legal to do this unless its being used as evidence on trial. He said in his opinion they are trying to scrub it from history.
 
Sure sounds like potus is trying to make people forget he was a terrorist and just leave the image of him being a shooter with a gun.


I like how the syfy and chiller tv are trying to get involved in this by having a ribbon and the word orlando displayed at the bottom of the screen. They didn't do this the first week.
