The Keeper The Keeper you can call them too, to make it easier on contacting them better than email, and they can give you the price for shipping. I order from them three times already.

Volta is a city in Guinea. It is nothing more than a catch location.

Any other name is a superfluous name given for marketing purposes.

There is no difference. Like I said, its something people have called them for marketing. Its normal for fish of the same species to have slight variations of color, such as people have labled "black and white".

Its the same fish.

Geagraphically the white, red, and black volta are connected. Traits are suppose to be indicative to those rivers. Bloodlines travel so it's logical for them to intermix. This is my opinion but if u look at their traits based on collecting points. Black have a real blocky markings with less lines. Plus they are to have darker body tones and bigger eyes. But the eye size is not always the case.

Whites have a less block like markings and slightly flatter heads. Supposedly, white markings are supposed to be not as pronounce and faded.

There's no definitive way to tell unless the catch locations are confirmed by the dealers. There has been mentioning from importer saying that both types are being brought in. High percentage are white. That leads me to believe that their labels aren't always going to be consistent with what we associate with the two. Just something to think about. But this kind of thing applies to other Endli and lap variations. Just one person's opinion here.
