From what I've seen his entire reason for being on this forum is start arguments with people.

So you claim you have such a vast knowledge about the hobby. Yet all you do is sit here and try to ridicule us because we don't have giant fish and giant tanks to keep them in
spoiler alert not everyone can drop 4 grand on a 500 gallon tank to keep these monster fish
you'd think with that "vast" knowledge you claim to have you'd be trying educate other people in the hobby, but no you just want to sit here and condescend on all the "people who aren't serious about the hobby"
No wonder you're not a mod anymore

He just acts like we all have the opportunity to get $125-250k to drop on a 10-15,000 gallon tank for Arapaima or other huge fish like that. Very few of us can even keep Peacocks or RTC's full grown without space issues. If he can donate $10k I'll set up a 1,000 gallon tank and save the rest for maintenance.

Sorry, I just feel like if he claims to have the knowledge he says he has, then why not use it to help out others in the hobby. He goes out of his way to tell everyone they're not serious about fish keeping, then does nothing to help. I don't understand it.

This is monster fish keepers. You can set up monster tank for less than 10% of your bottom figure. We are all hobbyists and we don't owe eachother anything. I just have a problem with people expecting quality and the pot kettle black argument. If he's so informed he doesn't have to share, all we can do is request it. I obviously don't appreciate the concept that I could never measure up to his pinky, but it's more of a figure of speech than anything concrete. We here are seeking to better ourselves and enjoy the social side of our hobby, if he can't appreciate it I'm not sure why'd he post here.

We were trying to politely say that he doesn't have to be an @$$ because he knows more.
