some are not nick names per say, with age comes fish is not a nick name, I am popss because I have been raising kids for the the past 35 years between the 2 families and even more so because way back when PC games (ultima, kings quest) came out I used popss and have been in all games sense. ever quest, wow, rift. bla bla bla. Did not know I was an ex gamer did yu?

Its actually awesome that you and your wife like gaming. My pop plays Mario Kart on the n64, but that's the start and end of his gaming...

lol when I started gaming, Nintendo, sega was not around, but Atari was! pong, missile launch, I built my first 186 for the expressed reason to play kings quest. gamers drove the PC industry after that, gamers wanted better games and to do that they needed better home PC,s

i think the mods would not be for giving nicknames because eventually someone is going to want to change theirs. and being that only mods can change that, if they do it for one person, they have to do it for everyone.
sounds like some hassle for the mods. hassle I'm sure they don't care to deal with. hell, even going person by person and changing that seems like some shizzz the mods probably don't care to do.

To be honest i think it should just be for big contributers (like you) and not a thing for every guy with 100 posts, but i understand where you are coming from there. The mods could make it a "you take it or leave it". If you dont want it you can have it removed
