Hi there

I would like to share some pics and vids about my 530 Gallon Tank with you

the tank was broken at another guy's project so I got the tank almost for free I had only to fix one of the bottom plates to seal it and had to find a solution for a inner filtration.



I built a inner Filtration with 4 chambers within a moving bed step

Just curious, why are you going with internal filtration as opposed to using a sump or pool filter?

I know, using a internal filtration instead of a sump or pool is not very popular but I have a pretty effective system that not needs al lot of space in my Fish room. My experiences in the last couple of years with long term try's with this system were very positive.

For the moving bed I'm using Kaldnes K1 witch is a very effective media






I've done a timelapse video while I was setting up the tank. Pretty funny

May I ask what you're resting the big rocks on? I use egg crate, but don't think it's the best idea. I'd appreciate hearing about your approach.
