Japan skating rink slammed for freezing 5,000 fish

Personally I think this is fine. They weren't fit for market so they created something unique. I remember seeing the odd dead fish frozen in the river ice where I skated as a kid. Was pretty cool seeing them. I can see why people wouldn't like this, it's just the kind of world we live in now where anything and everything is taken as offensive.

Hello; What to do with dead fish? What to do with fish much too dead to even feed to pigs? That is the question.
At first I thought they might be like the goldfish I saw frozen in a neighbors pond one winter back in 1959. I took a chunk of ice with a gold fish home and it was alive when the ice melted.
My next thought is about how bad that place is going to smell when they have to let the ice melt.

Well,according to the article the creators of the rink have bowed to pressure from the public and are going to melt the ice and remove the fish so things could get pretty funky around there.I wonder where'd they get all those dead fish from in the first place,
