yes I trust rapps I was just curious as to why they seem different but as I study them more I do believe that males are the ones with spangles. I wonder if anyone else has some from rapps and expreciecned same thing
Your parrots are starting to look good dude. Unfortunately I'll be selling all but one this week to just make room for my vieja and sajica. I'm going to keep 1 parrot though just to see how he turns out haha but I need to make space in my 125. I way overstocked it. Im even getting rid of my winemilleri for the time being but will get a nice group of geos once I get their 180 setup early next year. The vieja have completely taken over the tank with their quick growth. I'd like to also just make the south american tank a nice soft water tank with a nice RO/tap water mix. My 125 growout has turned into a way too busy tank.
They are f1 heros notatus one of the females gets dark like that usually when I'm close to tank messing with them
Yah I hear ya, way too many fish in there lol vieja are fast growing and take up A lot of space. I just bought another tank for all these guys and I'm still going to sell some parrots I have 5 right now but I want to see if I can get a pie to form same with the Severums. All my fish are growing at a same pace so it's been working out. But eventually I'll keep just a pair of all my growouts and hope to maintain a community. In the future I will do a tank with Midas jags and vieja but not until I can properly grow them out in like a 180
