Lovely tank mateArowana are about 10-13". They been sparing here and there. Nothing I'm too worried about. Feeding them majority of the time with pellets. Still getting used to how much I should give them. Sparing prolly coming from not feeding enough.
The Motoro pups are growing steadily. Added 2x new rays. Pure Blood Diamond (m) and a LeoPearlBD (f). Tank is fully stocked now and just growing them out. Gonna start the MONSTER tank this winter. Or at least start the fish room. Got permission from the wife to turn a third of the basement into a fish room. Still in the planning stages. But so far it's looking like 800g, 450g, 2x 150g, 2x 120g, 2x 180g, and got room for some tanks in the middle row. Considering 40g racks for some smaller fish. But gonna focus on the big tanks atm. Gonna stock mostly rays. Prolly try to get a snow/plat jardini for the 450g. A had a chance to get a albino silver aro but I passed on it. I just don't like how they look when they get big. Super cute when they babies. I really want a arapaima but no option for a pond. Time will only tell what I'll stock. I'm really interested in silver dollars. Prolly in the spring I'll go to the aquarium and get inspired.
As for this tank, looking to do a rescaping. Gonna take most of the plants out except for the Anubis. Gonna take out the big driftwood and add some smaller pieces to give them more swimming room. But overall, I'm extremely happy with the comm. I can watch this tank for hours.
Here's the newest vid... enjoy!
Just Amazing!!! Jardini are extremely radical in their way of being, but seeing many of them communicating with each other and leaving "peacefully" is something you don't see that much!! Also, about the smaller tanks, have you considered breeding dwarf cichlids? Such beauties!Arowana are about 10-13". They been sparing here and there. Nothing I'm too worried about.
