I think cardinals are big enough to avoid that fate.Since no ones mentioned it, wouldnt there be a chance the Angels (depending on type) would eat the tetras???
I know my yellow lab chiclid will happily swallow any i place in the tank for my eels...
Thanks I've never heard of these. I will search them right now. Some laetacara species would do well in that tank. They're peaceful, stay small, are beautiful and are a little less common.
Yeah my plan atm is to start another new tank 120+ for the two oscars and then add some fish in there with them. Not too many of course.Assuming you don't already own those fish, drop one oscar and the red terror and you should be okay long term, unless those JDs decide to pair up. I'd be careful with larger cichlid pairs in a relatively small footprint.
I've had Angels with guppies and have had no issues.
The exact dimensions I don't recall off hand. But it is a 4' tank. What are the dimensions of this tank?
Add ammonia daily (dr. Tims) until it reaches 2ppm. Once the bacteria can convert 2ppm of ammonia completely to nitrate the tank is cycled.I've recently got into the fish hobby. Lol so there are a ton of fish that I never have owned.
I had to order the fish due to not having any local pet stores other then petsmart and petco. So they should be here not this wen but next wen. I'm also waiting for the tank to cycle at the moment. You have any tips for doing fishless cycles by chance?
