Crap, I was about to close my 401k and invest in clown loaches. Luckily I read the whole thread in time to cancel my order for 1000.

Esta buena la mota.
the mota is good?

I love my Mota..............................................GUENSIS

Out of all of those only the last one is really bad. The 55's are fine in terms of pricing unless I missed something in them. The 10 gallon isn't the best but $120 for a 10 gallon setup isn't unheard of.
you get a $1 per gallon on used tanks around here, if you're lucky

I think the prices for the 55s are good too unless I'm missing something, one comes with an eheim filter which alone is at least $100 and the other a wood stand. The last one is actually a great price for a koi although they are coming from a bad situation they're priced to sell quick and most people only put them in tanks just for the winter. They could have been living in a pond. The biggest disgrace in my opinion we're the people leaving a 20 gallon set up with fish still in it practically empty at the curb shows no respect for the hobby or their pets. I treat my fish like family

Same here depending on the condition of the tank. Usually a 125 with stand is around $250 unless the guy wants it gone. A 55 full setup for $120 I feel is a more then fair price. I can't stand people who always say used tanks are $1 a gallon when your trying to sell it. If that was the case why don't you hobbit the tank that's listed at $1 a gallon. Price on used tanks increases the same way as new tanks. Usually $1 per gallon only apply to tanks 75 gallons and under. After that try to find a $300 300 gallon. Usually they still fetch around $1000.

And specialty tanks are usually a little more. Those ones clearly are not but rimless, Starphire, and acrylic tanks usually cost around $2 a gallon used. I have 2 75 gallon Starphire Rimless tanks sitting at my house that I won't be selling for less then $200. Just not worth it to sell $600 tanks for pennies on the dollar. Just my 2 cents
