300 gallon poly tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thx man appreciate it

Thx tlinsdey

No.75 was torn down and chewy, aequidens metea, and the 10 little hets are in the 150. I rescaped it with dw that was collecting dust and made it a little more small cichlid friendly. 2 taks is it for me

Maybe add 1 more peaceful med sized cichlid.

Im still on the fence with the aro guys. I really am enjoying the openness to the big tank. We'll see if i can convince them (family) to go with something smaller
It is okay to take the time to decide and enjoy the openness. An arrowana is a big commitment and there's so many factors involved with them. Although they are still cool, so I could see why people would want them.

You'll know what to get and when, once the time is right! :]

Yeah i had a list of polys that i wanted from when this upgrade was first conceived and for the most part ive stuck to the list. I kike when polys look different than eachother but dint need to have all a given species like all the endli or lap vsriants just the ones i like and i think look allot different than each other

Just wanted to chime in and say that the new setup looks great, nice job, man :)

PS. I'm jelly!
Hey man hows the baby and thanks for the compliment buddy

Some vids. Had to turn off the 150.gal sump to give a feel for how quiet the herbies are. For some reason the water trickle is louder on the vid than in reality. When standing near the tank all i hear is a slitght trickle from the overflows and the hum from the pumps

Couple of vids of the 150

Man jaws, that new 300 gallon tank is flawless. Definitely the goal for when my little poly's are all grown up! I particularly like your ornate. You mind me asking what substrate you have in there? That red color is really nice.

Thanks man it was a allot of planning but im really happy with it. I really enjoyed the sump portion. The substrate is barton garnet sand. You can email lisa and she can help find a store near you that carries it. She found a sherman williams about an hr from me that carried it.

I would be really happy if the polys looked like they normally do...smh ungrateful astards
