Oooo, I think I'd grab a bag and net that bad boy myself if I saw him. Lol

That is a beautiful female without a doubt, is the top pic right before she laid eggs ? Bc her tube looks definitely more rounded then pointy

That's months before she laid any. That's actually about how it looks normally. Maybe slightly smaller.
This is a picture of how it looked the day before she laid her last batch of eggs.

I regret not getting him, but now I gotta search for a male and net this one to vent

I'm in the same boat, looking for a male.
It just sucks that the fish place closest to me only gets juveniles. Really little ones. So I'll be starting all over in hopes it will be a male and get along with my girl. It feels like a long shot:/

Give an update once you are done venting.

Sorry but I can only really see in its butt hole and can't make out its vent.
Dam that's the best clarity my iPhone offers
Guess I'll just wait till it gets more size

Yeah, it's too fuzzy:/ Hopefully it will be more obvious soon.

It was my first time venting a fish so I was nervous holding the fish and my phone on the other hand for so long lol I'm selling off my females in my tank so they'll have more space to grow by then hopefully I can vent again and see the sex more clearly if I find a for sure male though might just sell this one off and get me the male so I can have my all male tank I wanted

Haha, I would be nervous too. I haven't tried venting any fish yet. But I remember how shaky my hands were the first year my fantails had hookworms and I had to pull them off with tweezers. I was so afraid I was going to stab them if they wiggled suddenly. Lol. Now I handle my fish by hand more often then netting them. It's faster, easier, and I think less stressful for us both. Haha

Sounds like you have a good plan going:)
