Not wc...in Africa.....smh! No need to take out the fluorite. Its a new fish. I'm sure it'll take pellets eventually.
I thought you guys dont use heater in south africa since its already hot.It isn't WC, I need to find out from the shop.
I added the heater and set it to 80, and I have some frozen fish (can't remember type) that I'll try. So far pretty much ignores pellets.
Should I take out the flourite to see if Barebottom will help him/her eat pellets? Will help keep water clean too
I did that, but now in winter the tanks drop to around 68-70I thought you guys dont use heater in south africa since its already hot.
Ahh, cause back in philippines when i kept several tanks, we didnt use heater, i think even now we they dont use heaters, summer there in 10 months long and since south africa is more hotter than philippines i never know you guys get cold season.I did that, but now in winter the tanks drop to around 68-70
Depends where you are. Drops below freezing in some places, lowest is about 55ish. My tanks hit 80 in summer though.Ahh, cause back in philippines when i kept several tanks, we didnt use heater, i think even now we they dont use heaters, summer there in 10 months long and since south africa is more hotter than philippines i never know you guys get cold season.
this is reassuring. So I guess, we all can have as many as we want as long as the level of care is good"In order to be considered an animal hoarder, a person must have a large number of animals at home that are not receiving the minimum standard of care. Another prerequisite is that the hoarder denies or tries to minimize the appalling conditions the animals are living in."
I'm not sure we fit as animal horders
