Hi guys, I would like to know what's the most interesting and fun to watch fish you guys have kept that will live in smaller tanks.

I have an 8 gallon tall I'm in the process of scaping, and have looked at pea puffers, shrimp, CPD's and a few other fish. The tank is on my desk so I would like something fun to watch and not too shy :)

What sort of stuff would you recommend guys?

I'm adding spiderwood and more plants soon, and moving the moss out

What smaller species of goby are around?

Stone cats are awesome but lack the activity factor

I love my 10 gallon shrimp tank. You could get a colony established and then add something else like the pygmy cories, scarlet badis, clown killies, chili/mosquito rasboras. You'd lose some shrimplets but not adults with those fish.

I do love the idea of a dwarf puffer tank though. You'd be more limited on other stock you could keep with them... but the tradeoff is I think more personality. I've never had dwarf puffers, this is just from what Ive read in researching them.

I was going to post a video of my shrimp tank today, I'll link you.

I am thinking of adding scarlet badis or clown killies to mine.

Awesome fish duanes duanes

A bit big for an 8 gal, If they were a bit bigger I would get some for my 70 African biotope, the senegal bichir may eat them

Golden neon gobies and bumblebee gobies.

From what I've read stone cats are quite active. They have similar behavior to cories.
