Yup, I knew you meant using the BRS.

Still would be a challenge to use 4" in 7" with the loop. But you can always try it and go back to using just one if it doesnt work out to what you expected.

I like that one a lot but I would need 1.5" bulkheads and would need it to fit on a 55 gallon aquarium.

This is the one we use... fits on a 55g. I'm not absolutely in love with it, but it looks nice and does the job we ask it to do.

If I had it to do over again, I'd probably build my own custom using twinwall polycarb.

Wow pretty hefty price tag. I just used a jig saw and jig out 2 x 7" hole for my sump with an 1/4" thick acrylic. Than I used 3 scrape aluminum angles to support the acrylic.

They will do custom sizes, although i bet they offer a 55 gallon size.
