Six GATF from Wes

Got six GATF from Wesley Wong about 3 months ago at 3". Currently at 6"-7". Gotta feed them regularly or they take down tank mates:

Cut thawed fish and humble catfish farm pellets. They prefer fish but take whatever is thrown in. When smaller had to feed 3x a day on the clock. Since ~5", I feed twice a day. Must not miss a feeding.

Wow that's a crazy amount that you feed. You have them in a 240g? What's your filtration?

I don't know what would constitute crazy They appear to have a fast metabolism. I am estimating they eat about 1/10, might be a little more, of their body mass each feeding at their current size.

Yes they are in a 240 gal. That 240 gal is a part of a block of six 240 gal tanks, which is filtered by ~1500 gal sump.

I'm used to feeding lazy fish where you just feed once a day and then shift to once every 4-5 days. Hell with my rhom sometimes he'd go 3-4 weeks without eating.

Doing well. The growth is not spectacular but not too shabby, I guess. They are around 8"-9" currently.
