Would it be okay if I put 4 Bala sharks and 2 silver dollars in a 75 gallon tank?

I would skip the balas.

What about denison barbs? They look nicer IMO.
Denison barbs aren't really what I'm looking for, they look decently nice but most importantly they don't have that really cool and intimidating look, which is exactly the type of fish I'm trying to get right now. That's why I want the Bala sharks so bad, but if you have any other suggestions that fit in that Bala shark look category feel free to do so

Have you considered not getting any balas at all and simply getting a nice sized group of silver dollars? That way you won't have to go through the hassle of trying to find a new home for some fish that have outgrown your tank.
That does seem like a good idea but i think of silver dollars as a finishing touch to the aquarium that's in my vision, not as the centre piece. I just thought of this, but are there piranhas i can get as a school in a 75 gallon. A school of piranhas would perfectly fit what I'm trying to look for

I don't know much about the different species of pirhanas but even the smallest of them would need more space than that tank. How about a school of exodons? They behave live pirhana but are much smaller.

I agree that spotted silver dollars (metynnis lipincottianus) would be a good option as far as silver dollars go. They stay around 5" and the males can actually have really nice color. Even they would be pushing it for a 75 gallon due to their activity, though. I had a group in a 4x2x2 and that seemed just adequate imo. Just my opinion, but I believe growing out fish just to knowingly have to rehome them is more hassle than it's worth.
Okay then do you think that if I were to get around 5 silver dollars in my tank, that it'd be okay to keep them forever and never have to move them?

That might work, check out the red hook silver dollars.

...or maybe some tiger silver dollars.

How about 6 silver dollars and an eel, does that feel right to you?

You can do red belly piranha, you can only get 4 or 5 for a 75 gallon but it would be better than bala sharks in there for sure. I'd say go for it.

I think six silver dollars and an eel would work fine in that tank, I would add some sort of cichlid, I have a geophagus brasiliensis with my silver dollars and he swims alongside them most of the time. In my 80 gallon I have six silver dollars, a featherfin catfish and a geo brasiliensis. It is a very interesting tank and something like that stock could work in your tank.
