That would be a great deal. But you wont stop there. Tangled up in cichlids known as jeff rapps has orino's in pretty cheap. Eventually youll go after rare ones. And it just doesnt stop. Been in the cichla collecting for over 20 years and i cant tell you how much ive spent. Alone this year. Id say easily over $1500. And i dont even have most of them anymore. Its crazy

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but if I go through with it, it will be my last fish for at least a year. I really don’t have room for any more anyway.

I got my vulture cats from Jeff. I was and am very happy with them. I would order from him again, but I’m trying to keep the costs of this purchase down...basically, under $100. I don’t really think I can do that if I order from Jeff right now. In the future though...definitely could be a possibility. Do you know, are all of Jeff’s fish WC?

On a side note, what do you guys think are the best looking peacock bass? I tend to like the nice green colors with really clean bars and really nice red fins on their undersides. I just don’t know enough about them to know which ones those are. Lol

Yes all of his are wild caught or raised in ponds captively bread. As far as green with dark bars. Id say your talking ocellaris or monoculas

It goes both ways. My wife asks me about stuff she wants to buy too, so I’m ok with it.

I’m really leaning towards going for it. I’m just trying to figure out how much of an ich I think I’ll get for more fish or a drone over the next year. I’ll make a decision by tomorrow’s water change time.

Just buy it and say it cost $20 bucks. Problem solved.

I'm sure your wife is eating some of that food that your ordering out. Food and beer doesn't really count.

Jimmie, you got me rolling.

Kelberis hands down but it's all in the eye of the hobbiest.

Here's two to help you make up your mind. Both pics are from the same bass.
