We've had this beauty for months now and he or she has been very active eating everyday sometimes twice a day, very interesting fish to say the least lol.
Right now it has a tank 55 all to it's self, the goby is approximately 12 inches in length. Tank is brackish but at a lower level, this tank is the same exact brand as my cichlids setup so it's fun to see the two exact same tanks but with two completely different environments.

Lol anyways I'd like some input on the goby. Does it look to be healthy from the shots I was able to get? I've noticed lots of posts on Instagram showing dragon gobies that seem to be sickly very skinny like paper thin and discoloration.

Looks nice and healthy to me.

It looks good. No skin issues. If it’s eating then ur doing it right I’d guess. Very cool goby.

Pretty cool fish! Most gobies are probably stressed in shop chains and not always properly fed or cared for. Looks like this one is in good hands ;)

I feed it a variety of different foods including cichlid pellets, algae pellets, fish flakes, raw and freeze-dried shrimp and bloodworms lol spoiled

I love that fish, it's so strange in appearance and how it eats, definitely fun to watch.
It's crazy how fast a hobby can turn into boarder line obsession lol, my next step if it is legal would be to get a walleye and setup another 55 or larger to house it in. My reason for wanting to do so is simple, I like to observe behavior of fish because for all we know these animals could be quite intelligent maybe even like a dog.

If you want super intelligent fish get puffers! Cute and very cool ;)

This hobby is like cocaine with water added...

Exactly right lol, I do like puffers but I'm leaning more towards wild species local to my state, I know to quarantine and dose for parasites and pathogens on the fish.
The walleye I chose because it's a predatory fish and it's nocturnal for the most part, which IMO animals who have those traits tend to be intelligent.
