Poly teugelsi

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Rope fish might no be good long term, teugelsi grow big and rope stay long and thin, not saying is impossible but its a gamble. Weeksii, delhezi and ornate or other LJ can be good with it. Idk much about fire eel T thefredpit has them with poly.
My teug is cb so it may not grow as big as the wc I hope they do not try to eat the RF :O

they slow down around 24-30" once you get them off bloodworms they grow every time you look away

mine hit 12" from 3" in 4 months after a year he is 14"
I have one in my LFS with 4.5'' how long till he reaches the 25'' mark? 1year or less?
And my cb teug is now with 8'' from 4'' in 3 months he doubled the size

my cb teug was a little bit of an Anomaly he grew an 1" a week for like 6 weeks straight. As far as a 4.5" fire eel it really depends on how well he eats, if he is a shy eater it may be 18 months but if he is a pig it could be 10

I could definitely upgrade my tank in 16 months. But I will think and research a little more.

Thats a good growth, some ornate dont even get that much in 3 months.
He did grow really fast, but I only measured him today and I didnt it properly it can be a litle bigger than that, do people measure them from the head to the end of the tail?
