I am interested in maybe getting a abei puffer but I can't find much info. About how big do they get?

thanks..

Fat Homer Fat Homer

I've never heard of the species so I looked it up and found that it can grow to about four inches and tend to be very aggressive and territorial.

Around 4” sounds about right for an adult abei...

Pictures can be deceiving because of the puffers body shape, so while they arent very long they are quite chunky...

They are also semi lurkers, so like hanging out in caves but will also come out and explore their surrounding every so often...

Thanks for the info. What do they need floor space wise? Thinking of dividing up one of the 125s and getting one.

Why not tell him what puffer you already got instead of your ext conquest!

Not sure anyone is interested in my tetradon duboisi but maybe
I am almost positive Fat Homer Fat Homer will be!

You already have a Dubosi??? Then an Abei may have a similar personality since they are technically both semi-lurkers...

Also for a single abei a 60-80G would be enough, but naturally they would absolutely love exploring a full 125G even more ;)

But just realized you plan on dividing it up, so should be still enough space for one...
