They’re finicky like that in a new tank. Just give it time, keep water clean and warm, dim lights and let him adjust. Any aggressive tankmates in there?
No tank mates, I am thinking of buying some feeders (not goldfish) and treating them in case of emergency do you advice me too?
Just out of curiosity Essaf, what's your tank water temperature?

is the dat man and may have a suggestion.
Just be patient and give time like stated. The temperature is fine. Once you start live it will be difficult to get Datnoid to eat non live foods.
okay I will wait and if he didn’t eat by next Thursday I will get him feeders because it will be like 14 days without food but hopefully he will eat before this time and can you please give me suggestions on what to feed during this time?
