How to transport 180 gallon glass tank from the basement upstairs?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Now that's a cool product. Seems a ton easier than using straps. So do you think two people are enough for my size tank?

It depends on the people. You might be able to handle it better with handles. Its 300+ dry so be careful and recruit help if you feel it's too much.

my 180 was a *****. Custom built not edged, Glass Top. took 4 of us to move no stairs. If stairs are carpeted can slide up. push from the edges, not the middle of the glass.

Suction cups be the way to go IMHO.

I had 2 big guys who are fairly strong, struggle with mine with out stairs, for a very short span.

I would say not a good idea for 2 people to try and move up stairs. It could be done if you are extremely determined but why chance it. Better to have 2 medium sized guys on each side. That way they can fit through doorways easier.

What's a push up? Time to recruit muscle! I used to bodybuild in college. Although my gains have gone down after marriage and 4 kids later.

I've notice these days that most young people don't exercise at all. Playing video games is all they do. I'm in my mid 50's and can drop down and give you 40 lol. All seriousness though don't won't anyone to drop a large aquarium. My 180 was no joke carrying down my basement with my brother and I.
