Yeah im familiar with the scam. I usually get "ive been doing business on craigslist like this for years" as well. Well not me lol. All cash with me. And any big bills are inspected against the lamplight with utmost scrutiny lol.

I'm trying to buy a 300 from a guy 3 hrs from me for 1k but he won't deal with me I guess due to being out of state.

It's the opposite for me I offer to buy then get radio ssilence or a run around. My replies are usually" no I'm serious about driving 3hrs to FL to pick up the tank".

1st pic is of a classic scam they try to run on kijiji all the time. 2nd pic is an offer I got on a new 480 gallon acrylic full setup. I think it was listed at $5000 for tank, stand, custom Bashsea 200 gallon sump, Return Pump and plumbing.
