oh no I understand, its just ive seen 2 gulpers in a 50g so im confused how 75 is to small for 1

I know people who think dovii can be held for life in a 6’ 125g but I think they need a 8’x3’x4’ MININIMUM for life long. All matter of opinion.

75 gal can house several gulpers given wise set up (caves) and strong overfiltration. Perhaps not for their expected lifetime of a decade or two but by that time you will have undoubtedly have much bigger tanks in place.

Gulpers don't bother gulpers, regardless of their relative size.

I only want one gulper honestly and I plan on having 2 caves sand substrate and lots of plants would this work?

One will work. Plants and driftwood will work. Need soft and slight acidic water to keep long term. Just imo from what’ve seen on posts by others with skin issues and hard water.
