what’s your temp at? Any other tank mates that compete for food?I have about 400 guppies and molly fry, so I scooped about 5 doz 1" fish into the Oscar tank. That's keeping him busy.
He did eat one mealworm this AM, but he's not really hungry lately . . .
The breeding tanks run about 78F while the Oscar tank runs about 77F.what’s your temp at? Any other tank mates that compete for food?
Oscars can be temperamental I’m sure you know, i had my Oscar Boris recently stopped eating for a week he just started to eat again a few days ago, he seemed to have an infatuation with my male BD just hovering over the ray where ever he went chasing off other fish that got to close. Now Boris is back to normal aggressively eating and challenging other fish on the regular such a cool fish to own non the less I have always kept Oscars in all my tanks. The breeding tanks run about 78F while the Oscar tank runs about 77F.
No tankmates, Felix The Oscar has been living alone for almost 2 years. Today I dumped another 50+ fry of various sizes into his 75g. All under 1" long.
