Very similar care and habits to small doradids. You'll never see it but it is a bit of an aggressive feeder.Typically gets 4-5 inches, eats anything it can fit in its mouth. Prefers 78ish degree water like most tropicals
oh didnt know that there were different species named like that well thx.There are different catfish called "jelly" and "bumblebee" I had an asian bumblebee that grew 5 inches.. very cool catfish.. but the one you're referring to is a larger one for sure I inches as far as I know... predetory fins sell them sometimes

Yeah most probably but then to miss out on a chance to have massive pond for maybe 2-3 inch fish most probably notif you decide to still use your 30g this would be a good option for you
