How is he not a mod yet?!?!? probably one of the best out there some1 please nominate this guy! awesome stuff man
Why? What did he ever do to you?

Moderating a forum is, for many people, the most thankless and frustrating "job" imaginable (usually unpaid, so not really a job...). Spending your free time listening to people griping about each other...trying to keep everybody happy and playing nicely together...ugh!

I'm eternally grateful that there are people willing to do it...but wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

That rings very true. Plus, no one on MFK is paid.

You are the most dedicated private fish keeper I've ever seen. Epic builds all around. I have to ask how the hell do you afford to keep all that running? I always enjoy your posts and videos please keep them coming! When I grow up I want to be just like you lol.

Funny how Florida has some crazy animal keepers. You got Joe the Tiger king and now Viktor the Fish king!
Just don’t try to kill Rich from Big fish rescue, and you’ll be ok!!!

Hopefully someday soon, we can all travel again and come pay respects to you and your work.

Thank you brothers for the kind words and compliments, of which I am not worthy.

... I have to ask how the hell do you afford to keep all that running? ...
My wonderful math teacher wife... :) She has been footing paycheck-to-paycheck all our monthly expenses (our electric bill is $15,000 a year for point of reference) for the last 10 years while I am building this "dream" of mine. Plus we save and try to do everything imaginable that we can do ourselves before hiring anyone or paying for service.

I was supposed to open back in 2015-2016... I am a bit behind haha... Of course hurricane Irma of 2017 didn't help, threw us back about 1.5 years.
