My mom doesn’t let me have birds...but when I grow up I am getting an ostrich

I was not allowed to have fish as a child. Or rather I should say I was not allowed to have an aquarium because my father moved to much on his job. I did have crawdads and minnows caught in a homemade net from the local Creek, and kept in a mayonnaise jar until they perished. I also had some freshwater clams that suffered the same fate.

Now that I am retired, I would like to have a rabbit and a bird. My wife does not feel kindly about this. I can’t complain because I own hundreds of fish.

Well, I learned a ton of piano songs over the last few years. Finally learned

Galloping Comedian - Dmitry Kabalevsky

Others of my CLASSIC songs are:

Canon in D - Johann Pachelbel
In the Hall of the Mountain King - Edvard Greig

And more modern songs:

Piano Man - Billy Joel
The Scientist - Coldplay
Sweet Caroline - Billy Joel

Just learned Star Spangled Banner (yes im Canadian lol, Lean on me and Believer (imagine dragons) on guitar Iknow they are not very advanced songs but i enjoyed learning them

Respect to both of you. I admire anyone who can play a musical instrument, especially at an advanced level. I'd absolutely love to be able to play the piano. The Masked Shadow The Masked Shadow , Canon in D by Pachelbel is my second favourite classical piece but my number one favourite is Pavane by Gabriel Faure, ironically a piano piece, check it out, a beautiful haunting piece of music, quite slow like canon.

Regrettably, I don't have a musical bone in my body so i'm resigned to the fact that i'll never play a musical instrument. . Some years ago I did actually look into piano lessons but I just knew that the amount of lessons i'd need, just to achieve beginner status, coupled with the cost of them, would bankrupt me. So I didn't bother. But everytime I hear Pavane something stirs inside me.

I also am kinda getting into reptiles. I just setup a Bioactive enclosure for my Indonesian blue tongue skink Irwin

He is pushing 18" so he needs an upgrade soon I think Im going to build a playwood viv for him maybe 4'x2'x3' or 5'x2'x3' Im not sure yet. most beeders keep them in a 40 breeder their whole lives with no ill effect but my view is if I can get/build him a bigger enclosure why not do it?
