Nearing about 2.75” now and looking absolutely gorgeous. Think mine has a water kok because it’s started to slightly protrude on the sides. View attachment 1465679
He is looking stunning. If his kok is growing well now he might have the potential to grow a good size one this was the size of Eddie's when I first got him at 2.5/3 inches. And his is massive now.

Thank you. I refuse to believe that’s the same fish. You’re has amazing genetics though and mines a low quality. I think daisy could potentially have a water kok but might have a semi kok. Small koks need love too ?

?? thank you, he's definitely the same fish when you go through the pics of him over the months the change is unreal. I did pay a premium on mine like but yours looks like he was a bit of a hidden gem.

Been telling the wife that for years ???

Don’t need a wife when you got a wet pet.
1.Fish won’t argue or fight with you
2. No stress of a newborn baby. Just adopt
3. They’re great listeners
4. They always agree on dinner
5. They’re easy to play with and less expensive.
the guy at the pet store said this was the only flowerhorn left and they’ve had him for a while because no one wanted him because of his colors.

That's all to true ? although my wife doesn't bite me every time I go near her ?. And now he's bigger he's starting to break the skin and it hurts like a ***** ?.

Yeah I used to find that all the time when I worked in the aquatic store but with the right foods he really has some potential to be even more stunning than he already is.

The harder the bite the more the love? just the fishes way of showing it lol. He’s currently feasting on hikari cichlid gold. I’m wanting to strengthen the red on his shoulders but not sure how.

Yeah I keep telling myself that ?. That's a good food my guy gets that as well as well as the hikari cichlid excel and the freeze dried krill a few times a week.

Get him on some krill that's really good for reds and high protein as well so should help with kok size you can get it fairly cheap on amazon.

Any suggestions on brand or type of krill? Is this good?D11A2EE2-380F-4363-ACDE-9DC9779B339B.png

To be honest no lol sorry I've used all different brands and never had an issue although not used that one. The one I'm using at the moment is this and my FH loves it.

He seems to enjoy it more the bigger he's gotten.

Thanks. This will for sure brighten up the red coloration on his shoulders? I know it’s kind of a lot to ask for but I’m wanting to Brighton red only on shoulders and fins and not as much on the body. I really live the electric blue that fades to a light blue on the mid body and really want to keep that. What do I search on Amazon to find that?
