Guys I currently am having a large tank with 2 oscars 2 texas c. 2 green terrors
The Texas are becoming a menace (but I love them)
I also need tank for my 2 turtles I came back from my hostel seeing my parents totally neglecting them
I'm getting a 4 feet tank it is nearly 90 gallons
So there definately be 2 RES turtles and I am wanting to add those 2 texas in there
According to me they are perfect and has best survival chance as I provide them a lot of hiding places and cover
What are your thoughts pls share

I wouldn’t risk it. You don’t want the fish biting the turtles feet and risking infection.

The fish biting the turts is no prob brother
Their skin is very very tough like leather
Really more tough than it looks or feels
I am concerned about fishes

I doubt the turtles pose a threat to large Texas cichlids. You’d be surprised at the damage that a cichlid can do though.
I agree 90 gallons isn’t a lot of space when considering 2 fish and 2 turtles in the 10-12 inch range.
