I picked up a tiny ornate and had a lapradei delivered today, I didn’t expect this size difference, do you think I bought an expensive lunch for the lap?

From what ive heard, polys won’t normally eat each other. I think it needs to be a very very big size difference.

When they are still juveniles they have a caniballistic streak. Based on others experience and what I have heard endlicheris are the ones that eat each other most frequently when young.
When older they seem to mind each other more. I have a 20” bichir with an 8” inch one now.

I think it is fine, although there is a small chance it may get eaten. I have never kept ljws when small so I’m not sure. If kept both fed well it would lower the risk

I've had 2 Senegal eaten either by a Ornate or the Endli I have currently. This is why I keep my Senegal in a aquarium only for them. I do know some members like Hao Hao and others have had success.
