Any one try Northfin

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well its been two weeks now that I switched from north fin to NLS.

I know my fish are doing better because I no longer have greayish floating unhealthy waste that I was getting with NF, hikari and omega! Also much less food waste with the smaller more dense pellts that NLS are
I know this is a super old thread and you haven't been on for over a year, but what type of NLS were you feeding your Umbee's? I can't seem to find any carnivore style NLS. Also all I see in the cichlid version is 1mm. Have they stopped carrying anything bigger? I've been feeding 3mm Hiarki cichlid gold, but would like to switch to NLS if I can find something suitable for the Umbee's. Thanks.

Got my Thera A in yesterday. The 3-3.5mm sure looks like ~2mm to me. Going to attempt to reach out to NLS and see what they say. The umbee's are eating it, but it is so small they seem to have trouble seeing it. :irked: The Con's on the other hand don't even let it hit the ground.

Well after pulling out my trusty digital calipers from harborfreight, I can confirm it is 3mm, so I have instead reached out to NLS to see if they can point me in the right direction to finding the jumbo sized pellets online.
