Who wouldn’t but would you be able to get away with not buying the fish that a little 7 year old picked out for herself?

Oddly, that rule hasn’t reached Southern California as the Petsmart locally hasn’t even heard of the forms
Most 7 year old girls I know would not have required too much explanation as we walked out of the place.

Lol…what’s your point ? If you want fight And argue with an 18 year old chain store employee and explain to a friend’s 7 year old daughter why daddy’s friend can’t buy her the fish as a gift then good on you.

I was simply responding to the last guy who mentioned these rules are in place in some chain stores. But the main point is we should all probably sign the petition that was pointed out the the OP

No real point,I obviously have nothing to do with that situation so there'd be nothing for me to explain.I am dismayed at this whole situation and I was pretty much merely posting/speaking out loud about the Petsmart incident.....as for the post topic, there doesn't seem to be a whole that we can do about it.

I hear ya man. Trust me, it was upsetting for me too. Unbelievable actually.

About this bill…I’m with you on that as well. Not sure what we all can do about either.

I just signed the paperwork. I wasn’t talked down to at either stores. One employee was pretty firm when explaining that the form must be filled out. I chalked it up to them probably getting a lot of resistance from customers. They don’t make the rules, they just have to enforce them. A lot of lower wage customer service workers get treated like crap, especially since Covid, and the whole shortage of products and employees. It’s unfortunate how management at some of these big box stores treat their staff too.
Anyways, glad to know the Lacy Act didn’t pass. Fish on…..responsibly!
