Cold water crocs??

Hej everyone. Is it posible to keep caimans or dwarf crocs outside?? Will they survive the winter???

Where do you live? That makes a huge difference.
Any species you can get your hands on will need warm conditions year round.

Yes there are crocs that can survive in extreme temperatures! Here’s a picture of one I found in the snow although it seems to have evolved some special adaptations to help it survive.

In all seriousness I remember seeing a video of a gator Sanctuary where the ponds would freeze and they would stick there nose through the ice and brumate

Think im just doing a 630 gallon snapping turtle pond.

I think this is just a quick cold snap I don’t think it’s sustainable long term

Snapping turtles are pretty cool and probably a better choice than a crocodilian
