I am going to build a 700 gallon pond for some Monster fish and I was wondering what type of fish would be relatively on the cheaper side but still cool fish. This would be in a shed and freshwater. I was thinking a TSN

2650 liters is not big enough for a tiger shovelnose. A tank almost 4 times as large isn't big enough, in fact.

Something in the region of 12′ x 8′ x 4′ (360cm x 240cm x 120cm) – 10,368 litres would be needed for a fully-grown fish. Even this wouldn’t give it enough space to cruise around as it would in the wild.

You could try a giant freshwater puffer, depending on the price they're available to you at.

Yeah I have read that puffers are pretty messy because they are definitely dope fish. Are there any catfish or bass that potentially fit. I also was thinking Tiger Datnoid but they are hard to come across

+1. Plecos are a catfish which give a number of species that could do well in your pond.
I'm not an expert, but some good sized options are sailfin, L600, and L014.

Edit: Missed the 1 pleco part. I'm not advocating that suggestion, just listing some species potentially good for your pond.

I don’t have experience with tanks this size, but in the case of a pond I’d definitely say the best options are something that looks nice from the top down.
Arowana, smaller rays, smaller gar, and bichirs come to mind for me (definitely not all mixed together).

Yeah plecos are cool and I was thinking about getting one. A gar would be dope but I don't know how must they cost or where to buy one. I was thinking some fish to where I could go to the local pond to catch fish and feed them to my fish.

Depending on where you are, there could be some cool native options for fish.
There is a risk of parasite transfer for feeding wild caught (or really any live) food, so be careful with that.
