I actually moved my tank to a different office at work. Everything went fairly smooth. The only causality was the chalice. It seems that a portion had attached itself to a second rock and when I went to pick it up broke off.

Glad to see things are going smoothly for you! Is that a cyphastrea?

So after coming across marine ich, I did hypo-salinity for 30 days (12PPT or 1.009 sg) and the ich was gone! I planned my live rock arrival for the special occasion to add some needed biodiversity and jumpstart things, one day later… cirolanid pods!!! Attached to my poor clowns, I’ve since caught and removed 3 of, what I’ve read does not make me feel good about things. This has been a frustrating experience but still hopeful it’s not a serious infestation.

Mulling my options moving forward but will just need to wait and see how bad things are.

For what it is worth the tank and scape look amazing. I really can’t believe the diversity of critters both good and bad that suddenly appear in these tanks. Hope it works itself out those clowns are beautiful.
