Well it’s been almost 10 years! I have 7 of the original 10 days left. They are about 15 to 20 inches now, fat and happy in their new 1100 gallon tank.

DAMN that's a nice tank. I've looked at your other threads in the past and your setups inspire me big time man. Kudos. If you don't mind me asking where'd you acquire them dats from? I'm looking to house one in a setup I'm working on atm.

Man thanks for the feed back, I love this hobby and keeping it simple.

Dat acquire: It was such a long time ago I don’t remember who I got them from? I do suggest buying at least 5. They do better in larger groups. Also prepare for a larger tank. They grow slow but they keep growing for a long time. Mine started in a 120 then went to a 360 and one died in the over flow, moved them to soon I think. Now they are in an 1100.

My largest Dat just died. Looked fine the night before and in the morning and it was dead.

It was one of these from this thread. I think I had it about 13 years.
down to 6 of the original 10 I bought years ago.
