The natural catchment datnoid for the island of Sumatra are generally in large rivers such as the Kampar, Musi, Batanghari rivers.
while Datnoid Borneo is in the Kapuas River and is more in the interior forest with calm water.
Datnoid from Sumatra are generally yellow-based fish and the bar is 4.
while datnoids from Borneo are generally brown or orange-colored fish and the bars are random
